Our Favorite Things: Freshly Picked Moccasins

When we downsized to prepare for our move from 1,000+ sq feet to less than 300 sq feet, we got rid of 80% of what we owned. We are very careful with what we keep now, we are quick to get rid of things that aren't working for us; clothing that stays at the bottom of the drawer, shoes that are uncomfortable, dishes or appliances that aren't used. As a result, the things that we are left with are all things that we genuinely LOVE. Products, brands and items that we think deserve a place in our home!

We love Freshly Picked Moccasins! They're Abram's current favorite shoe and he's been wearing them everywhere and anywhere lately.

The moccasins are made from 100% real leather, made in the USA and they're so soft and comfortable.

I love that they stay on Abram's foot no matter how much playing, climbing, running, rolling or crawling he does. Abram was a pretty early walker, but he still trips over his feet and falls all the time. I find that soft soled, light shoes such as these seem to work better for him, it's almost like walking barefoot. They're excellent for tiny babies, crawlers, early walkers and busy toddlers!

Abram wears his moccasins outside and tromps through all kinds of rough terrain with them, they're tough enough to keep his feet safe while still allowing him to balance more easily over obstacles.

Another thing that I really appreciate about these moccasins is that they take up very little space. I've never realized how much space shoes take up until we started living tiny! We have a basket under the couch and that's where all of our shoes live. I love that Abram's moccs take up hardly any room!

While we were at my parents' house the other day, Abram dumped an entire mug of (luke warm) coffee all down his belly and all over his moccasins. I worried that they would stain or stay wet for a long time. Within minutes, they looked good as new! Low maintenance is a necessity for our family!

I really appreciate versatile shoes and clothing options for our whole family, since we're so careful with what we keep in our home! Abram's moccasins are tough enough to wear adventuring in the woods, cute enough to wear for family photos and nice enough to wear to church!

I can tell that he likes wearing them, and that's a big plus for me. It's totally not worth hanging onto a cute pair of shoes if it's a battle to get them on every time!
